Vodafone Web Services and Ubiquity worked closely to build an interactive Web 2.0 site to support Vodafone's sponsorship of the Warriors.

    Vodafone's sponsorship of the Warriors delivers considerable value for the Vodafone brand.

    To further maximise the value Vodafone needed to deliver an interactive website, marketing database and TXT and email communication solution.

    How Ubiquity helped

    We designed and delivered a Web 2.0 website and marketing database. We integrated the site with a third party system to seamlessly deliver tipping functionality and connected open source components such as forums and a content management solution to deliver greater interactivity. We integrated TXT and email marketing functionality into the site and also managed the delivery of the fully personalised weekly email newsletters.

    What was achieved

    The One Tribe site has allowed Vodafone to maximise their sponsorship of the Vodafone Warriors. The site has attracted a loyal following with a large number interacting with the site and the brand through forums, competitions, downloads and the One Tribe TV.

    The email marketing solution delivers rich content while the TXT messaging functionality allows Vodafone to communicate immediately with members even as a game is being played.
